I see a lot about "women's self defense" - what is it?

Women's self defense is exactly the same as men's self defense. The goal of any self-defense program is to give the participants the idea that they can defend themselves, regardless of gender, size, age etc. The difference is that women are sometimes reluctant to train with men, so schools or organizations often hold separate seminars for women only.
